18.2 Heat Schedule

  • Heat times are set and schedule posted! PLEASE be on time, warmed up and ready to play when your heat time is announced!
  • Anyone that needs to make this up on a day other than Saturday please coordinate with friends or others that also have to make it up so you can judge each other. 
  • There will be NO regular Saturday classes during the 5 weeks of the OPEN.
  • If you have any concerns or questions pertaining to what you have to do on Saturday today is the day to get them answered!
  • AT THE END OF THE DAY OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO HAVE FUN AND TO DO SOMETHING YOU DIDN’T THINK WAS POSSIBLE! GOOD LUCK AND MOVE SWIFTLY :)

*Those of you doing 18.2 on Saturday will perform the warm-up below, decide on an opening weight for the cleans (even if you don’t make it that far), then perform a few rounds of the couplet to figure out your approach

Dumbbell squats
Bar-facing burpees (load bar with expected opener)

**Note: If 18.2 is not completed in under 12 minutes, athletes will not lift and will not have a score for 18.2a.

Scaled:
(Ages 16-54) 35/20lb DB’s, Stepping burpees allowed
